オープンソースライセンスの中でも、GPL ライセンスはソースコード開示義務があるため扱いにくいライセンスです。業務であればまず GPL ライセンスのライブラリは利用できません。

一方、LGPL(Lesser General Public License) ライセンスのライブラリは、一定の条件の元でソースコードの開示義務を負わないため、業務利用も可能となります。

はじめに

Windows 8 Developer Preview は、基本的に物理環境へのインストールが推奨されていて、Microsoft 製品でありながら Virtual PC や Virtual Server にはインストールすることができません。

ですが、以下の仮想環境にはインストール可能とされています。

• Windows 8 Developer Preview に搭載の Hyper-V
• Windows Server 2008 R2 に搭載の Hyper-V
• VMware Workstation 8.0 for Windows
• VirtualBox 4.1.2 for Windows

VirtualBox は商用でも無償で利用可能であるため、ここでは最新版の VirtualBox 4.1.8 for Windows に Windows 8 Developer Preview をインストールしてみます。

今まで、VirtualBox は商用利用に制限があると思っていたために、Virtual PC か VMWare Player を利用していたのですが、いつの間にか GPL ライセンスに変わっていて商用でも無償で利用できるようになっていたんですね。

PowerPoint 2003 カラーパレットとは

PowerPoint 2010 では、PowerPoint 2003 と同じカラーパレットを使用できません。

「PowerPoint 2003 カラーパレット」は、PowerPoint 2010 でも PowerPoint 2003 のカラーパレットを簡単に使用できるように作成した PowerPoint アドインです。

※PowerPoint 2010 で作成してありますが、PowerPoint 2007 でも動作すると思います。PowerPoint 2007 で動作確認できた場合はコメントをくださるとありがたいです。
